To provide holidays for seriously ill and disabled children aged 8-14 to visit the theme parks of Orlando, Florida. We aim to take children who are from poor social circumstances as well as being ill or disabled, and would therefore be unlikely to have such an opportunity otherwise.

Situation
Many of the children invited on a Dreamflight holiday have never been away from home before. With the help and encouragement of our team of volunteer doctors, nurses,physiotherapists and other volunteers they gain in confidence during the holiday and return with a "can-do" attitude. Parents are surprised at the change in their children and how much more independent them become after just 10 days away. The children also make friends in their local area who also have challenges to overcome.
Solution
Our volunteer medical team meet each child and their family before the holiday in order to gain information about their likes and dislikes as well as their medical conditions. The children are able to meet others who have been invited from their local area
