    Situation

    Working in partnership with Centrepoint, other youth homelessness organisations and health service providers, FPA runs a project promoting sexual health choices for homeless young people in the North East of England and in London. The project aims to increase and improve homeless young people’s knowledge of sexual health and to encourage the use of sexual health services. Topics that will be covered in interactive workshop sessions include: puberty, fertility and reproduction sexually transmitted infections contraception, emergency contraception and family planning relationships and behaviour sexuality, sexual orientation and gender roles negotiation, consent and the law substance misuse and sex unplanned pregnancy and abortion sexual health choices and services.
