The UK leads the world in providing our young people with outstanding educational programmes in Israel. Our flagship programmes for 16 year-olds engage 1300 people a year and our gap year programmes involve 500 and are growing. Birthright and school programmes offer yet more opportunities. The UJIA provides means tested bursaries and is responsible for training, evaluation, programme development and communications.

    Situation

The UJIA's strategy is designed to help guarantee a sustainable and postive future for the people of the Galil and the Jewish community of the UK. Our programme is built around young people and education, which we see as the key to securing our future. We believe that the future of Israel and the Jewish Diaspora are dependent upon each other and that the UJIA creates the living bridge between our communities.
