Ten years after opening, we are appealing for funds to pay off this independent Museum's historic development debt.

More than 150 prehistoric and historic sites lie within six miles of this independent internationally acclaimed museum, which celebrates the astonishing concentration and diversity of monuments in Kilmartin Glen - one of Scotland's richest prehistoric landscapes. Early repayment of our historic development debt will not only save a fortune in interest charges, but the annual revenue savings will reduce our reliance on grant funding, and release staff for the vitally important work of caring for and interpreting this unique landscape for the benefit of both local people and visitors. An anonymous donor has offered to match £ for £ everything we raise BUT only until the end of February 2008 - so far we have raised about £20K but need another £35K in the next two months to achieve our target of £55K which will then be doubled to £110K.
