    Situation

    Participants will: Receive a cash award to help undertake education or training or enhance their ability to gain employment A Prince’s Trust volunteer will also support the young person in setting goals, making decisions and finding other programmes or support. Over 10,000 young people have received a Development Award to date. Recent internal and external evaluations of the programme found that: 82% of award recipients are now in employment, education or training 94% of award recipients said the award had satisfied their goals. 84% of award recipients felt the award had, or would have, a long term impact on their life. These awards can only be made when funding is available .
