    Situation

Our Peer Mentoring and Training project will empower 120 young people within the most deprived boroughs in the UK to act as mentors to their fellow young people that not in education, employment and training “NEET” and at risk of social exclusion. We are offering structured training for these young people in how to become a peer mentor. Our training with its associated cost is £150K over a period of 3years for 120 young people as beneficiaries. Our training will be interactive and engaging, including team-building activities, encouraging peer mentors to support and help each other. The mentoring programme will build young people’s self-confidence, social skills and develop self-esteem. The achievement of our project within the 3year period will introduce peer mentoring; improve interpersonal and communication skills; raise awareness of differing values and attitudes; explore how mentoring benefits mentees; set ground rules and boundaries for a mentoring relationship; explore how to initiate, manage and end that relationship. Please donate whatever you can to make this project a reality for 120 young people who are not in education, employment or training in the UK. Thank you for your generous donation!!
