One of our two bathrooms is in need of total renovation. It is important that we have two bathrooms available, as they offer different types of equipment which are suitable for people with various levels of ability. The bath, which is adjustable, has come away from its base plate. However, due to its age it is obsolete so needs to be replaced with an up to date model. The shower and walling also need replacing as they are broken/ damaged after many years of use.

By refurbishing the bathroom we will be able to offer patients a relaxing experience which we all take for granted in a specialist bath which tilts so that they can be fully immersed. This is not only soothing to the skin and helps to alleviate aches and pains, but it also helps to reduce pressure. There will also be a specialist shower and other equipment such as a hoist which are all there to make it a better experience for the patient. Equipment is also designed to reduce risk to staff.
