We specialise in art inspired by nature and want to be able to show our visitors the best examples from world renowned artists. Our collection contains a number of works of artistic and historical interest, but we are always looking to increase the number of significant pieces we hold. We want to ensure that we keep up to date with new artists, as well as gaining items from the historical masters. We are therefore setting up an Art Purchase Fund to help buy work for the collection when it becomes available.

Although we have a great collection at Nature in Art we find that the only way we can show some major works is by having them on loan from other collections. With the help of individuals and trusts we are looking to gain some of these masterpieces for our collection to enable us to show an even more diverse range of art over longer periods of time. The type or work we are interested in is by artists such as Landseer, JJ Audubon and Wilhelm Kuhnert. £250,000 will help us to source match funding for purchasing these works.
