There are over 710,000 orphans in Zambia, as a result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, many have to drop out of school due to lack of funds.100% of all donations will be used to support these vulnerable children in education.

Situation
Education is the KEY to overcoming the devastation caused by HIV/AIDS. The Butterfly Tree provides funds to educate orphans in rural areas of Zambia. We provide classrooms, teachers houses and materials as well as feeding programmes and fresh water. We are seeking funds to educate more of these orphans. £95 a year will pay for school and exam fees, books, uniform, shoes and school bag. The charity provides a nutritional feeding program at each school. All our members both in the UK and Zambia are volunteers, including women who oversee the welfare of the children. No personal fees or administration costs are deducted. This amount will educate 50 children fro one year.
