We have plans to build an extension which will provide disabled access and changing facility. We would also like to incorporate a further room which can be used by carers while waiting, and for a teaching facility when training sessions are held.

Situation
We have plans drawn up, and have agreement in principle from the School Governors, who hold the lease for the pool. Disabled access would help all age ranges, as we have primary schools with disabled children, through to pensioners who use the pool on a regular basis. Better facilities will also help staff and carers who currently have to carry any disabled swimmers up and down steps to give access to the pool.
