    Situation

We already offer training on commercial sewing machines and have been very successful in placing people in tailoring positions in garment factories in Dhaka and the local community. There is a rising demand from abroad for knitted goods, and we need to address this by setting up a sweater making factory to both train people to gain work outside the project, and also to produce garments that we can sell locally and possibly abroad. Conversion of current electrical training workshop (now outsourced) £3000.00 Fitting out the building £2000.00 Purchase of 5 commercial knitting machines £3000.00 Staff for first year £2000.00
