    Situation

Since the start in 2002, the Friends have part-sponsored one production each year, mainly through income from subscriptions and events. We would now like to relieve OHP of the financial burden of one entire production, particularly La Boheme which as a deservedly famous opera will attract maximum ABC1 audiences and give pleasure to young and old who are part of the Free Ticket Scheme. This sponsorship would enable the artistic team to reach its acclaimed high standards in costume and set design as well as underwriting key singers' fees. Donors of between £35,000 and £50,000 or more would receive at the lower level 120 tickets and 200 at the higher level and will be invited to closed working rehearsals, the opening night in summer 2009 and other events. Publicity will be outstanding and donors will be covered on posters and programmes and listed as a 'headline' sponsor for the season.
