The lack of funds we face as animal welfare charity is having an enormous adverse effect on us. The economic climate is squeezing our donations to almost zero whilst the demand for our help is rapidly increasing as people abandon pets, ignore health issues or give their pet up for adoption. As we deal with wild animals such as hedgehogs, foxes, badgers, birds, frogs etc as well as domestic animals such as cats,dogs & rabbits etc we are struggling to survive. Animals will suffer if we close.

With the additional funds from the West Yorkshire In Need 'Pet Photo Competition' we will be able to help more wild and domestic animals in need. This will help people as well as animals as we can help to neuter, take in more animals and offer practical help and support as well enabling us to give advice where needed. WYAIN will be able to continue its excellent work by helping to improve animal welfare for both wild animals and domestic animals and relieve their ever increasing suffering.
