Situation

Demand for our work is exceeding supply and there are many areas that Grief Encounter cannot reach, thus turning away people in desperate times of need. In addition, young people are turning more to internet based communications.

Solution

Given developments in new technology, Grief Encounter has developed a 4tier approach to information advice and support. Tier 1 is gaining information and support from the website,2nd level support via telephone/ email and resources or signposting,3rdlevel counselling via videoconferencing,4th level with direct support of 1/1 counselling, workshops, family days and residential camp. This increases the gateway to GE's support to those beyond the current reach.
