At present we only operate in the South East of England. We would like to expand to offer Silver Song Clubs across the whole of the country to benefit older people, particularly the socially isolated and those suffering the effects of age related mental health disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.

Situation
The level of interest in our work leads us to believe that Sing For Your Life has potential to develop into a national charity. However we need to strengthen our core funding in order to develop appropriate management and operation structures to allow this to happen. Our present network of 37 clubs in the South East has been created in just over 2 years and will reach 50 clubs by the end of 2008. Demand for our activities unfortunately outstrips our resources to deliver them although we have never closed a Silver Song Club for financial reasons. We have already been approached by people in London, the South West, Midlands and Est Anglia and would like to be able to fulfill their interest in our work.
