ABF The Soldiers' Charity

Out of Action Man

We continue to operate in demanding conditions. With the commitments of the serving Army spread across the world, including ongoing theatres of operation in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Army Benevolent Fund will continue to see a rise in urgent requests for assistance when soldiers are badly wounded or their families are left bereaved.

Situation

We have recently set up a new designated fund to be called the Current Operations Fund, which will support any soldiers in need as a direct result of their service in any future operation, irrespective of the geographic location of the theatre of operation in which they sustained their injury. The Army Benevolent Fund aims to be there in support for soldiers and their families throughout their Army career and beyond. It is our commitment to provide them with the assistance they need, when required, in true recognition of the support they have provided the British people in the past and in years to come. Any amount of funding will help to make a real difference to their lives.
