From time to time, medical emergencies arise with the children in the Homes we support in South India. Medical care has to be paid for, but there is no spare money - all funds are used in just caring for the children day-to-day.

Situation
We are setting up a Medical Fund to provide for medical needs in the Homes that we already support. Funds will be used in two ways:- 1. Emergency funding for unforseen medical expenses - e.g. if one of the children has an accident or there is an outbreak of disease, which can travel quickly through a close community such as a Children's Home. 2. Ongoing provision of basic medical supplies for regular use in the Children's Homes.
