Place of change We want our newly re-furbished building to be an inspiring and welcoming place of change. This one off donation will allow us to create a unique space that will transform the lives of up to 6,000 homeless people forever. Our Work The Connection at St Martin's works with 6,000 homeless people and those in insecure accommodation from across London the UK and the world. We are open every day of the week, 21 hours per day, 364 days per year to help people find routes away from homelessness. Our work is achieved by providing a range of services of advice, care and support which are open, accessible and user friendly. We aim to help each person to address their problems, to gain the skills and confidence to move forward and to take steps towards independent living New Equipment & Furniture Much of our existing furniture and equipment is out of date, broken or falling apart and badly needs replacing. We need new equipment and furniture for our kitchen, dining room, main hall, art room, employment and training area including: desks, chairs, tables, bookshelves, storage units, computers, audio-visual equipment, cookers, grills, dishwasher and laundry equipment.
