TALC has been producing and distributing e-TALC Health CDs to over 5,000 health workers overseas who can’t easily get their information from the web. To date, we have produced and distributed 9 Issues – more than 66,000 CDs. Each e-TALC CD contains a wide range of up-to-date medical information on different aspects of the treatment of many diseases. It costs TALC about £10,000 to collect the information, get permission to use the material, put everything onto the CD, produce 5,000 copies and post them to health workers around the world. We have distributed e-TALC Issue 10, and have run out of copies of Issue 9. We are now working on Issue 11. The demand from health workers rises with each issue, since many have no other way to get up-to-date information in their field. We need to raise £10,000 for Issue 11.
