SILK is a story about a brave young girl called Sadaf, who leaves the banks of the Caspian Sea in Iran to seek her fortune at the Grand Bazaar in China, with stories in her heart, a pouch of precious saffron and a map of the Silk Road. A touring show including workshops with young and old.

Solution
Through the performance and workshops will allow our audiences to engage with intercultural stories through a range of art forms. This will embellish curriculum driven work in schools and increase their knowledge of other cultures through music and movement. ZENDEH aims to affect the arts more widely by producing a high quality production that can become part of mainstream performance work with a strong intercultural perspective.
