Ex offenders are given £46.75 when they leave prison and struggle to find jobs and can have little support when they are released which in many cases results in them returning to their old way of life and ending up back in prison. The reoffending rate nationally is around 50-60% which results in a huge number of victims, fear of crime and a huge cost to the the government.

We aim to be one of the solutions to this by supporting ex-offenders through the prison gate and in their first few months after release. We offer volunteer mentors who support and signpost to the essential services they need in order to access accomodation, training, employment, substance misuse services, mental health services and other support services. A recent study of our clients found that only 17% had re-offended after working with us which is a great result in reducing re-offending.
