Through the 2009 Christmas Challenge Eton is inviting donors to support the school and increase the value of their donations by up to 100%. In particular we welcome those who wish to contribute to the The Fred Hood Fund or other projects at Eton, such as the MCM Fund. Please give on 7 December at 10.00 AM, 8 December at 10.00AM or 9 December at 10.00 AM (all times GMT) to ensure Eton benefits fully from the potential of The Big Give.

Situation
Eton is in the midst of a £50 million comprehensive campaign. We seek donations for many projects including donations for scholarships and bursaries. We also seek gifts for special projects. The Fred Hood Fund is an example of a new special fund. Fred’s family and friends have raised over £100,000 to create a new fund to for dramatics at Eton, supporting creativity and independence. We are delighted they will be supporting the fund via The Big Give Christmas Challenge.
