Communities are disconnected from the river and the local environment so don't value it. We want to reconnect people to this vital resource to highlight the story of water moving through our lives and how it touches every one of us - from the food we eat to the water we drink to the places we play.

Situation
Communities and individuals are disconnected from water, rivers and their environment. Food comes wrapped in plastic from the super market, water comes from the tap and entertainment comes form a screen. We have lost our connectivity with the outside world. Water connects all of these things but it is taken for granted. It moves through the landscape and our lives intimately connecting us all but we have all lost that.
Solution
By working with community groups we will reconnect them with their river and the story of water. Reconnect them with the route water takes from the sky, through our landscape, into our food, along the pipes and into our houses and back to the river before reaching the sea. This deep understanding is crucial to start making the small changes we need as a society towards local food, water efficiency, healthy lifestyles because we understand we are an integral part of our landscape
