The National Support Framework estimates that 22% of people over 60 have both hearing and visual impairment. Sense has been working to improve the living standards of deafblind older people through our Fill-in-the-Gaps campaign and have successfully piloted a specialist outreach worker in the South-East. We are seeking to expand this project through the creation of two new positions.
