Illiteracy and poverty trap many people into a lifetime of deprivation. The UN states that education is the road out of poverty and deprivation. We partner with local communities to build small primary schools in these areas. Through education we give people hope and opportunity.

Solution
Working in partnership with local communities we fund the construction of a small primary starter school - usually 2 medium size classrooms. This enables 30 to100 local children to receive primary education We encourage them to plan for the future running of the school by feeding into the national curriculum and attract national and local funding. If demand for places increases and achievement levels are at or above national averages, we will consider funding the building of more classrooms
