Music education is under-valued and under-funded in the UK, yet it has huge benefits to society as a whole. Access to music can increase attainment and self-esteem among young people. It can inspire disadvantaged children to seize their ambition and change their future. And nurturing the next generation of classical artists is helping to create a more inclusive and diverse music industry for the 21st century.
Solution
Through four strands of activity, we will bring world-class music to thousands of people. We will put on fun and engaging concerts for thousands of primary school children. We will empower vulnerable teenagers to be creative through music-making. And we will train young performers and composers to become the artistic leaders of the future.
