Situation
We are successful in managing over 40 nature reserves which are accessible and contribute to the conservation of Cumbria's most important habitats and species. Four of our existing reserves would benefit hugely from acquiring extensions but, although the appropriate land may be available, we need to secure the funding to enable us to do this.
