    Situation

The project operates a mobile library outreach project for children in rural schools, circulating book boxes and helping the schools to set up their own lending library. The aim of the project is to encourage a love of reading in young children, to develop language and literacy skills and to help older learners to use books as a resource for school project work. It uses local volunteers to drive the minibus and work with teachers to run library-based activities for the children.
