    Situation

The Comboni Missionary Sisters have worked in the remotest parts of Sudan for over a century. They dedicate their lives to helping the poor and those who are most in need. They have mission stations in eight towns in the South of Sudan. One is in the town of Malakal which in recent weeks has suffered terribly through inter tribal conflict. The Sisters provide medical outreach services to the community as well as pre primary and primary education. They have one four wheel drive vehicle which is completely broken. The cost of repairing is almost as much as buying a new vehicle and once repaired it is likely to soon break again on the terrible roads in and around Malakal. This is an urgent request for a donor to support the purchase of a new four wheel drive vehicle. The total cost is approximately £30,000, If we can secure £25,000 of this total, International Refugee Trust will contribute the other £5,000.
