Due to a significant loss of funding this year, fundraising will be particularly important to continue and develop Archway's work in Oxford and Abingdon. All money raised from this sponsorship will be given to Archway to help alleviate the pain of loneliness by providing weekly social meetings within a supportive context, subsidised transport for those who find it difficult to get out and a befriending service for those who are unable to get out and have few if any close contacts.

Money raised allows for the continuation and expansion of services throughout Oxford and will contribute to the actual running costs of a small charity.
