As the world knows, last winter at least 100 young children in Afghanistan froze to death as a result of inadequate clothing, blankets, food, and fuel for heating in the refugee camps in Kabul alone. For this reason we have decided to repeat the appeal of last spring’s project, which was named Ismail’s Flight after the youngest of the children who froze to death in the camps this time before the winter comes in order to avoid the death of so many innocent children.

Encouraged by our success last Spring in delivering 2 1/2 tons of warm winter baby clothes, blankets, and supplies to the refugee camps in Kabul, in response to the news of the freezing deaths of at least 23 infants the previous Winter, we are aiming to repeat and expand the project, this time before winter hits hardest in Afghanistan. With your help we can raise the money necessary to bring warm clothes to children in Afghanistan.
