The Yemen conflict has resulted in 7,000 people killed, millions displaced from their homes, 19 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, and famine a possibility for millions. The IRC has operated in Yemen since 2012 and provides emergency medical supplies, nutrition and hygiene programs.
It ran from 12:30 PM, 14 December 2016 to 5:00 PM, 30 December 2016

According to the UN, nearly 19 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance and 10.3 million of which are in acute need. Famine is a possibility for millions and treatable diseases are putting children, the chronically ill, the elderly and disabled, and pregnant and lactating mothers at particularly high risk of starvation and sickness.
The IRC first began assisting people in Yemen in 2012 and continues to this day. We provide health, nutrition, water, hygiene, and sanitation services to more than a quarter-million people; delivering essential drugs and medical supplies to hospitals; and calling on the international community to help achieve a lasting peace.
