Urgent life-saving support required following devastating disaster in Mozambique. On 14th March 2019, a tropical cyclone swept across Mozambique, leaving a path of destruction across one of the poorest and most vulnerable countries in the world. Many people are struggling to survive.

Situation
The cyclone made landfall in Mozambique, leaving behind a trail of destruction, cutting off electricity and destroying homes, roads, medical facilities and crops. Widespread displacement and deaths have been caused as a result of the disaster. Many people are currently waiting on rooftops for emergency aid to arrive.
Solution
Medair will provide urgent life saving relief to affected communities. Our project will restore dignity and provide hope for survivors through rapid support of emergency basic needs. Our services will target vulnerable populations and those most affected by the cyclone.
