    Situation

On Friday 8th November 2013, the strongest typhoon on record hit the Philippines. So far 10,000 lives are reported lost and over 9 million people affected. Handicap International's team of emergency experts are already on the ground to ensure disabled and vulnerable people are not forgotten.

    Solution

Handicap International will identify vulnerable people (disabled people, elderly, children), help them access humanitarian aid, provide mobility aids (crutches, wheelchairs) and support rehabilitation care for disabled and injured people.
