Situation

“Schools throughout the UK require a national framework and guidance for food and nutrition education to support the learning needs of children and young people, especially at a time when levels of childhood obesity are soaring.” Roy Ballam, British Nutrition Foundation June 2013. At a time when children seem ever more disconnected from the sources of good food, the new gallery aims to play a key role in educating a new generation of children on the importance of good food and active lives.

Solution

At the heart of All About Me lies Eureka!’s simple ‘all-inclusive’ belief that every child deserves to have the opportunity to learn about how to look after their most important possession: themselves. The new gallery will tackle these issues by developing an understanding of science and health, and includes space for educational workshops and meet the expert events. By building children's confidence we can give them the knowledge and skills to make their own healthy food choices as they grow.
