For the proportion of displaced people seeking safety and hope in Europe, they face a very complicated and frequently changing asylum process. In Greece, there is no official translation of material from the Greek language, nor explanation of the processes. Many displaced people with international rights of protection fail their asylum interviews because they simply do not know what is going on, or what their rights are. The wrong asylum decision can, and has, had devastating consequences.

Volunteer lawyers and interpreters will re-locate to the Greek island hot-spots of Chios and Lesvos to help fill the void in information and translation and give back the human rights displaced people are entitled to. This campaign will provide the additional funding needed such as renting office space, printing costs and reimbursing travel costs for destitute clients. Providing such legal services undoubtedly saves lives.
