Situation

The project will solve the restrictions that currently face young people whose parents are not in a financial position to fund their children taking part in school trips or other activities such as these. For example, many parents are unable to afford the hundreds of pounds required to cover the cost of the training and expeditions in addition to the personal equipment that is required for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Solution

First and foremost - we will provide all of these activities and experiences completely free-of-charge. Secondly, we will provide all of the personal equipment that is required for young people to complete the award: walking boots, rucksacks, tents, cooking stoves, etc. Thirdly, we provide transport to and from the the venue.
