We need your help to deepen one of two existing wells we have in Etla, Oaxaca to supply the water needs of Casa Margarita and Casa Esperanza, our student residences for our AIMS (Armonia Indigenous Mexican Scholars) students
It ran from 12:00 PM, 27 November 2018 to 12:00 PM, 4 December 2018

There are two existing wells serving the needs of our students in Oaxaca but in recent years, the water yield has not been sufficient, especially in low water season, but also when the residence occupancy exceeds 25 students. The water from the wells is used for a number of general purposes including cooking, washing, watering plants and crops.
We have engaged the services of an engineer, and after an initial survey, we expect that deepening the well to a depth of 25 to 35m (from 17m) would be sufficient to yield a sustainable water source for many years, potentially decades to come.
