Situation

The scourge of Dementia, which affects over 3,000 people in Sandwell alone. It cannot yet be treated but it can be managed

Solution

Stimulating mental and physical activities slow the progress of the disorder. In addition, meeting in a group is beneficial and helps to reduce social isolation. While members are engaged in group activities their carers have the opportunity for a brief respite break.
