Research shows that up to 40% of children will suffer with a sleep issue at some point. Sleep deprivation can lead families into crisis. Our project will empower families to make changes to address sleep issues using a behavioural approach based on the latest research. Input from a sleep practitioner will allow families to feel more in control and develop their parenting skills. Children who are sleep deprived cannot meet their full potential, our project aims to address this issue.
Families will have the opportunity to attend a sleep clinic with a qualified sleep practitioner. They will be supported to identify why their child has sleep issues and what positive action can be taken in order to address these. Each family will be provided with a sleep programme to follow. Follow up support is offered for up to 6 weeks while the family implement the changes. Our approach has a 90% success rate. Children will be healthier, happier, and better able to learn & develop.
