Situation
Jewish and Arab children in Israel live separate lives. Despite both being citizens of Israel and living in close proximity growing up, they have limited contact and know nothing about each other’s culture, religion and everyday lives. This segregation is deeply problematic for Israeli society, and perpetuates the fragile relations between Israel's Arab and Jewish communities
Solution
By creating a new model of Arab-Jewish school encounters that make intra-group collaborations an integral part of school life, breaking the inherent separation between Jews and Arabs in the Israeli school systems, and creating enhanced educational opportunities for everyone involved whilst promoting tolerance and mitigating against tensions.
