There are barriers for those with the condition(s) being included and achieving at school. Physical aspects include incontinence management, accessibility, mobility & cognitive aspects. Language barriers make it harder to understand the meaning of sentences or stories, as well as keeping up with social chat. Other effects are eye-hand coordination. The conditions make it hard for parents & teachers to understand behaviour & attitude. Children can become isolated, lonely leading to bullying.

Delivery of a range of sustainable life changing resources, helping children to be included & achieve at school provide a unique insight for educational professionals. School visits using Benny and Bella Bear who have the conditions helping explain complexities in an accessible clear way. The bears help children of all ages in an educational setting understand these complex disabilities. All will have a better understanding of life threatening conditions and bullying stopped before it starts.
