Situation
The thought of losing your sight is terrifying, but learning that your child suffers from sight loss is indescribable. Lack of knowledge and understanding often leads families to feel isolated. We work with families providing a caring and trusting environment where they can learn to deal with the difficulties of sight loss. We also work with visually impaired parents, helping them adapt to life as a visually impaired parent and working to support them with any problems they may face.
Solution
Our specialist staff are equipped to help families overcome the barriers that sight loss can cause. No parent wants to watch their child struggle; imagine how much that worry deepens when you know that child is visually impaired.
