    Situation

Many children from London's poorest families have little or no access to play opportunities during the summer holidays. Kids' City works in a number of South London schools where more than 40% of pupils face extreme poverty. Having provided Ofsted registered playschemes for over twenty years Kids' City want to ensure that opportunities to access these opportunities are open to children whose parents could not otherwise afford them.

    Solution

Kids' City will provide free places to children who meet the qualification criteria for the pupil premium in the thirteen eligible primary schools where the charity operates. In addition Kids' City will provide escorted pick ups from three of the schools we support where more than 40% of pupils qualify for he pupil premium. Children will attend Ofsted registered play based playschemes that operate from 8.00 to 6.00 Monday to Friday for five weeks of the summer.
