We feed & care for our farm animals all year round with no government funding - we have Rare Breed Sheep, Goats, Calves, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks & Geese plus Small Domestic Animals. Feed costs are rising and we need donations for straw and hay over the Winter-time. Please help us meet the rising cost

Situation
With Brexit looming, and after a hot dry Summer (following the wet Winter), there is a shortage of fodder and prices are rising. Charities with animals to feed and care for will need more resources over the coming Winter to cope. Our animals are more than visitor attractions - they work for their keep by going on roadshows and visiting local Care Homes, schools and community centres. Please help us keep providing our famous Dementia Chickens for older care home residents
Solution
Our farm is a much-loved community hub as well as a working urban farm - the many farm animals are one of our main resources and every day young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and older adults with learning disabilities are looking after them & engaging with them, caring for them and growing in skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. We have very high animal welfare standards and this project will help us cover vets fees, Winter feed and more. We do not charge to visit our farm.
