Situation
The adults we support have permanent brain damage, Parkinson’s, MS. After a limited number of NHS sessions, it is then up to the individual to find and pay for their own treatment – despite their disability being permanent. To stay as mobile and independent as possible, highly specialist neurological therapy is needed on a long term basis. This is not only rare to find but also expensive.
Solution
No other organization within a 25 mile radius of White Lodge Centre, offers long-term physiotherapy and specialist gym sessions, all available from the one site, aimed at adults with long term neurological conditions. Individualised treatment programmes improve quality of life to those most in need. We subsidize our therapy and fitness sessions so they are accessible to all.
