Restore's Garden Cafe desperately needs a new coffee machine to replace its very old one. The Cafe is a recovery group for people with mental ill health to learn new skills such as customer service. Without a coffee machine, it's harder to make and sell coffee as a Cafe. That means the people we support have a harder time learning skills such as customer service. Mental ill health is a normal part of life and the Cafe is a crucial way of providing a public face to the work Restore does!

The people we support are involved in all aspects of the running of the Café. From actively participating in each morning meeting and shaping the daily tasks and responsibilities, members build confidence and use their own initiative. Members say they feel a sense of empowerment and ownership as a result. Replacing our very old coffee machine will ensure our members can go on recovering and providing a public face to mental health!
