Bringing Christmas to patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals. Providing toys for children, hampers for staff to share with patients, funding Christmas trees around the sites and providing free parking and television on the big day itself.

Situation
200,000 patients will visit the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals over the Christmas period with over 2,000 patients being unable to get home for Christmas Day. Christmas can be a difficult time in itself and patients often feel lonely at this festive time of year.
Solution
The hospital charity will support patients in hospital at Christmas by providing the following: -A festive hamper for patients and staff to share over the festive period -Free parking on Christmas Day for friends and families -Free TV for patients on Christmas Day -Christmas trees around the hospital -Gifts for children and young people
