Let Me In Festival presents and celebrates work for, by and about people with learning and physical disabilities. Our mission for this festival is to build upon the success of the 2018 and grow the festival to include further activities and reach a greater number of participants than ever before.

    Situation

The Rose Theatre is continuing its aim to grow its access list, in order to increase participation from people from all walks of life in theatrical events at the venue. With government figures showing an increase in the isolation of children and young people with access needs, we must fight to create opportunities for inclusion, particularly within the arts, and ensure that people of all abilities feel like the theatre is a safe and inviting place to visit and be involved in.

    Solution

The Let Me In Festival will include a varied programme of performances and workshops for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) of all ages, delivered by experienced practitioners.
