Time to celebrate all that’s good about Ensemble Cymru. Through live events, work with schools & children, concerts in care, internships, recordings, films, and broadcasts we’re going to excite people about our work & grow our family of supporters for the next 15 years for people in Wales.

    Situation

    - Ensemble Cymru's work for the educational welfare of children & quality of life for people in care settings, supporting the employability of young people and advancing people's understanding of Wales' classical music heritage and contemporary culture is invisible to many people who would otherwise support us. - An annual major grant to Ensemble Cymru will be coming to an end in 2018 due to the planned winding up a supporting Trust. - Chamber music as an art form is not well understood by many.

    Solution

What we do through music for people in Wales is as important as the music itself and how well we perform it. Through pictures, videos, broadcasts, recordings and case studies of 12 months of activities, Ensemble Cymru will: - demonstrate how we will continue to use music to make a positive impact for the welfare of people in Wales; - Further the understanding of chamber music and Wales’ heritage and contemporary culture in classical music; - Galvanise support for the charity’s next 15 years.
